Tylenol. Feel better.
Sep. 16th, 2008 08:31 pmSunday night my throat was scrachy. Monday morning I woke to a full on sore throat. Since then, I've progressed through an almost comically sterotypical cold. Lost my voice for a few hours. Cold chills. Fever. Stuffy nose. I'm crossing my fingers hoping that the 24 hour bug will have run it's course by the time I have to be up for work tomorrow. I've also been internally laughing at my stupid luck and how my symptoms match up with your average cold medicine commercial. I only have five hours of work and one hour of class tomorrow, though. With any luck I'll survive well. In theory I get paid tomorrow as well. We'll see how that works. The bossman has been overwhelmed as of late. Not sure if my paperwork is all in properly.
In my few hours of conciousness in the past two days I've had the chance to watch all sorts of wonderful random television. House premere was so-so, wasn't it? Wilson made too many good points in his short rants. Fringe's medical sections are getting freaky already. Not sure if I can handle this show. Do love the main girl's hair regardless. The third season of Kyou Kara Maou!, however, is just what the doctor ordered. Anything that can make a person with no voice laugh out loud is good shit. I find myself wanting to go back and look for more NHK anime and dramas. They properly invest in their shows, I think.
