I watch the sun rise, then I watch it set

I've had a leisurely week since recovering from the cold that wouldn't be gone. Things have evened out into a pace that I rather enjoy. Sadly, this doesn't include much Japanese study or practice. I'm seriously contemplating just taking the 3kyuu test this winter and... I think I could be ok with that.

Most of the reason I've been off the LJ as of late is the fault of one SaJo. I gave her a booty call invited her up to Iowa for the weekend to hang as we were both free and bored. It was a drunken weekend of debauchery grand old time. As nice as things have been going as of late, I just don't have many friends around anymore. I have plenty of good friends, sure, but damn near all of them are in other states or other countries. We just kept turning to each other and exclaiming, "I have a friend!" That was the theme of the weekend. Friday we watched Kyou Kara Maoh, Saturday we stayed up all night catching up, and at some point we were tailed around the parking lot of Walmart by crazy wannabe thug black Iowans. What the hell is with fake ghetto kids in Iowa, anyway?

Anyway, I kept her hostage until Monday afternoon and just wish I could have kidnapped her for longer.
