Everything and...

The construction and remodeling continues in the building I live in. And, the trash bin has continued to be a source of hilarity.

I've spent the past day or so doing little other than basic chores and watching marathons. Spent a little time with Heidi. Got a laugh out of the Republican VP pick. The holiday weekend has been fantastic and long, but I really ought to get to doing things again. My first day back at the bagel place is tomorrow as well as my third day of class and first lab session. It'll be a long day.

I've made a resolution to, no matter what, leave the apartment at least once a day. It's strange. This has taken an effort. Despite this apartment being impossible to keep cool in the late afternoon and having a sense of euphoria at being free, I'm weirdly content with being locked in my little box with little more than basic cable and mediocre internet. Is that bad?

I wonder if it will be like this all semester.
