Can I get that, like, toasted?
Sep. 10th, 2008 07:27 pmGyro. My oh so healthy dinner.
Today was just sort of draining. I was put on register at 6AM and emo and completely unmotivated kid with a beard (Greg) was stuck on my side of the sandwich line starting at 8AM. After it took him almost 10 minutes to ultimately fuck up slicing a bagel and putting cream cheese on it, my patience ran out and I started to point out all his moronic mistakes in full and unpleasant detail. I've never seen someone over the age of 16 sigh with undeserved self pity so much. I'm reminded of how dumb MatsuJun's character is in Bambino!... Except this kid is a dozen times slower (in speed and mentally), infinitely less motivated, and unfortunately, doesn't have a time limit on his employment. I was hoping he'd get fired soon, but the second girl in a week has quit. Before I was wondering if this moron was being this dumb on purpose. Now I'm wondering if he's mentally impaired. Whatever. Maybe he'll quit like the two bimbettes who couldn't be bothered to wake up before 10AM and quit.
And, I did something to my left leg. Walking down stairs is awful. Don't know if it was my bike or my job's fault, though. I was going to rest it tomorrow...But I got called in. 7AM-1PM.
Watching CNN is so depressing lately. All the pundits are going on and on about nothing but the outrageousness and the hypocrisy in the Republican campaign movements. While I appreciate their sentiment, I'd like to hear about other news every now and again. Weather, Republican hypocrisy, weather, Republican hypocrisy. However, I could reach into the screen and hug the No Bull, Campbell Brown: Election Center anchors tonight. Real good reporting.
Heh. They turned off the water again. I'm so sick of this renovation on the other floors. At least they can't mess with my power supply.
