I've been doing little other than studying kanji lately and its driving me crazy. My final for kanji is on Monday and I've not yet finished the section. My stack of notecards is two inches high and counting. I just want to make above a 30% on this test. That's all I ask. But, I still need to redo the group project... Alone this time because I was booted from the group because... Because. And, I have yet to start my regular winter break homework. I cleaned my room and did my laundry today. Because of this I only learned 30 new words worth of kanji. Tomorrow I scrub the bathroom and run errands. I've got around 60 words left before I go back through the book to check for words I've missed. And, I'm pretty weak on readings. All this studying has made me dislike myself rather strongly and I find myself doing my best to ignore when people try to compliment me off hand or ask how I am because giving an honest answer would just make people dislike or angry at me. Actually, I'm sort of avoiding most people here lately. I'm just sick of... People. There's a weird atmosphere around here lately. I can't put my finger on what it is but I've got Akane-level people poisoning because of it.

Oh fuck... That reminds me. They made me wear a kimono for New Years and go out in public. I just wanted to die I looked so bad. To top it off all the drunk rude freaks were out on New Years Eve and I was cornered a few times by scary men and more than a few people laughed at me and secretly took my picture. Ugh. Never wearing a kimono again. Ever. Worst experience so far in Japan. For real.

I'm sorry I'm slow to respond on Facebook... For some reason it only loads half the time on this network and computer. I blame all those bull crap applications they've allowed in.

I really really really want a snake lately. I'm thinking if I can get a job pretty quick after I get home in seven months I'll just buy one... Though I'm still concerned that I've never lived with a snake before and I'd probably kill the poor sweet baby, but I'm dedicated and I'm willing to give my all in caring for a beauty. I just day dream about what kind of enclosure I'd want to make and holding a little bitty baby as he slithered across my fingers. So cute! I keep watching YouTube videos of people playing with theirs. I'm just torturing myself, I guess. I've almost decided on what kind I want. A Blizzard Corn Snake would be the coolest, but I'd take whatever I could get really. A Snow Corn would be ok too I guess. Anything but orange. I used to think that red patterned snakes were the prettiest, but I'll admit watching Fruits Basket made white snakes seem cooler in my mind.

I also must say... I really wish I wasn't Super Nerd. Sometimes being Super Nerd sucks.

I'm sorry you had a bad time for New Years, but yay snakes! Albino corn snakes are gorgeous, and much sweeter than, say, King Snakes imo. I miss being able to play with the snakes at work ;_;

^_^ Except some of the albinos just turn yellow with age instead of staying white. If I go white, I'd really want one WHITE, you know? *sighs dreamily* It's still a long way off. Getting and keeping one in Japan would be impossible. *sadness*

I've only ever worked with young ones, so I wouldn't know. I like the markings of the albinos, though, even if they don't stay pure!

All I can say about having a snake for a pet is that it SUCKS when they piss and shit on you and you're wearing brand new black jeans. And when they try and squeeze your arm off. But when they do the headdress thing, it's pretty flippin' sweet.

Yeah, anything's cuteness level drops when it shits on you. I can only hope to avoid it as much as possible. >.> I don't think corn snakes have very good squeezing ability anyway.

Ohh~~. I went and checked out the HG stuff at Bulldog. Too bad he's not as popular now as he was a few years back. Anyway, they still just have this one (http://photos-357.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v132/251/84/14828357/n14828357_36253149_2470.jpg) which I will gladly pick up for you if you want it. It doesn't come with glasses, though. And no "HG" studed butt area.

No glasses is fine, I'm sure I can find something close to them around here. And I could Bedazzle the HG or something.. I used to have a Bedazzler, anyhow..

I'm sorry that your kimono-wearing experience had to be like that. It's too bad that the country of Japan is populated by 12-year-olds because I thought you looked cute in it. <3~!

No, part of the reason it was so bad is because I did look terrible/like an idiot and I knew it. I mean I dress up funny and go out in public as a friggin' hobby and this still felt way wrong. Buh. I've never been one of those people who found kimonos to be extrordinary, though.

This is true... But nobody knows what Ai Yori Aoshi is! And, a real kimono would be easier to get anyway. Might just scrap the parts and make other things. If I have the time to make anything when I get back.

Meh. I don't know about Japan, but this last semester in programming I turned in alllll my programs the day of the final (but they were assigned throughout the semester). I got a B in the class. So, maybe your teacher will just be glad you turn in the homework even if it's late, ne? *hopes that will be the case for you too*
