My job ends on Thursday. I can arrive as early as you'd like for AI, though I will indeed have to go back Monday for sure b/c my mom's attending the other convention I wanted to attend this summer and I've got to watch the dogs.

Your job ends.... tomorrow? I haven't even turned the power on in my apt yet. No cable, interent, or power. I think I'm headed up on the... 4th? I don't know. My mother took us all on this cruise that was very nice... But royally fucked up my schedule for the next few weeks. *still disoriented* I need to sit down with Akane and talk about times, too. I don't even know how many people will be in the apt during various parts August. >.> Who's coming to AI again?
No, no. Our apartment is the third floor of a building up on a hill. Its more the infastructure of the city that we/I was worried about than our actual appartment. Somebody said that the con hotel actually did flood a bit, contrary to what some people on my flist have said. Goodness knows half the other hotels and most of the restaurants in the area were underwater. And, most of the relief effort has been spent more on the university buildings (one of the bigger dorms flooded) than anything... I'm a little afraid of what IC will look and smell like when I get there. >.>
The job ended a month early, randomly. Sucks that I'm out of a month's worth of good pay, but I was beginning to find myself cursed anyhow, so it's a good thing it is over.
I am coming, and Tammy is coming. Tammy says there is the remotest possibility of Alex showing up, but I doubt he will, and strongly encouraged her to tell him to find other friends to stay with if he does appear.
