Ignore how funny looking I am. I GRADUATED! BA in Asian Languages and Literature. Done.
And then we mad dashed to the apartment as the snow started falling for the third snow storm in a week, packed everything I could, and ran head on into this blizzard. Saw 17 abandoned cars on I-80 between Iowa City and Des Moines.

Date: 2008-12-22 07:21 pm (UTC)'Musta joulu', which literally means 'black Christmas', is what we tend to use as a synonym for snowless Christmas. Hence, 'black x-mas' = no snow. :( The past few winters have been nothing like the ones in my childhood days. How I miss the early 90's!
